Dear valued patients,
We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot over the past few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same-Our commitment to your safety along with that of our team.
Infection control has always been a top priority for our practice and we have been back at the office enhancing our systems based on the current recommendations from the Department of Public Health, CDC, OSHA and ADA(American Dental Association)
Here are some refinements you may see at your next appointment. These changes have been made to help protect our patients
- Pre appointment screening on the phone/ text.
- Check-in to support social distancing. Please try to arrive at your appointment time rather than before or after. Appointment times are managed to allow for social distancing between patients.
- Please avoid bringing companions with you if possible. For those patients who need a guardian or caretaker, we ask that you please limit this to one person.
- Sneeze guard at the front desk.
- We love to talk to you but we are trying to keep conversation to a minimum to reduce air droplet release.
- We no longer offer magazines and reading material.
- When entering the office, we ask that you wear a mask.
- We are not allowing gloves (from outside) in the office area. Hand Sanitizer will be provided to you on check-in.
- Once in the treatment areas, we have added a temperature check with an infrared contactless thermometer and anti-viral pre-rinse. You will also notice medical grade HEPA purifiers which claim to kill 99.7 of viruses and bacteria . During some procedures, staff may be wearing extra PPE.
- It may be a good idea to bring in a light jacket or a shawl as it may be cooler than usual in the office as we are lowering the temperature in the office to account for additional PPE worn by the staff.
